What is the Footloose font?
Footloose was a work in progress when its original designer, my friend and colleague Bob Alonso, passed away. Back then just 14 lowercase letters were designed so far.
Several years have since gone by, but lately I took on the task of developing Bob’s design into a full-fledged font. The distinctive style of his supplied letterforms provided much inspiration. In blocks of short text there is a dynamic that communicates much verve and vigor, owing in part to gracefully curving lines and high contrast of stroke weight. More…
I guess you could say that this project has been a sort of “passing on of the baton”; and I trust that Bob would have been pleased with the outcome.

You're probably thinking - Is Footloose available to Download for free?
The short answer is no. Footloose is definitely not available as a free download font. This is a premium font which mean that you will have to pay to download and use it in your project. We showcase fonts on SharedFonts that are almost all premium fonts. Feel free to waste valuable hours of your time searching for a free download of Footloose, but take it from me, you will not be successful in your quest. Just think how much time and effort you will save if you just pay for Footloose and be done with it.
It is always best to pay for a premium font rather than trying to find an illegal download. The benefits of paying for Footloose is that you get the license to use it leagally. If you're using an illegal version of Footloose and you get caught, you or your client could get into some trouble legally with the publisher of Footloose.
